The Skywatcher light pollution filter simply screws onto your existing 1.25" eyepiece to enhance your views of deep space objects such as Nebulae and Galaxies.

Just because it is called a light pollution filter, it does not mean you are restricted to viewing from light polluted area,s. You will also benefit from dark skies, with targets such as the Orion Nebula showing more detail both in the centre, and the edges.
