The Ostara 1.25" O-iii filter is a must have accessory for Planetary and diffuse nebula like the Veil, Lagoon, Swan, Ring, Dumbell and the Eskimo. The views I got through a 6" dobsonian was breathtaking.
These superb filters help bring out detail in the nebula. Plus by blocking like from many other wavelengths , it makes the target nebula jump out from the background.
Note we only recommend for high end telescopes or other telescopes 5" or higher due to a loss in light transmission.
